Refund Policy

At Hire in Pakistan, we ensure a secure and transparent payment process for both Clients and Freelancers. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed. By using Hire in Pakistan, you agree to abide by this policy.

1. General Refund Conditions

  • Eligibility: Refunds are applicable only if the Gig, Task, or Project milestone has not been marked as completed.
  • No Refund After Completion: Once the Client marks the work as completed, the payment is automatically released to the Freelancer, and no refund is possible.
  • Refund Request Review: All refund requests are reviewed by the Hire in Pakistan Team, and a decision is provided within 72 working hours.

2. Refund Process

A. Refund Requests for Gigs

  • Advance Payment System: Payments for Gigs are made in advance and held in escrow until the Client marks the Gig as completed.
  • Refund Request Before Completion:
    • If the Freelancer fails to deliver the Gig as agreed, the Client can request a refund.
    • Process:
      1. Go to My Gigs → Select the Gig.
      2. Click Request Refund and provide a valid reason.
      3. The Hire in Pakistan Team will review the request and resolve it within 72 working hours.
      4. If the refund is approved, the transaction is returned to the Client’s original payment method (credit/debit card).
  • No Refund After Completion: Once the Client marks the Gig as completed, the payment is released to the Freelancer and cannot be refunded.

B. Refund Requests for Tasks & Projects

  • Milestone-Based Payment System:
    • Each milestone payment is held in escrow until the Client marks it as completed.
    • The Client can request a refund only if the milestone is not marked as completed.
  • Refund Request Before Milestone Completion:
    • If the Freelancer fails to deliver the agreed milestone work, the Client may request a refund.
    • Process:
      1. Go to My Projects → Select the Project/Task.
      2. Click Request Refund under the pending milestone.
      3. Provide the reason for the refund.
      4. The Hire in Pakistan Team will review the request and provide a resolution within 72 working hours.
      5. If the refund is approved, the transaction is returned to the Client’s original payment method (credit/debit card).
  • No Refund After Milestone Completion: Once the Client marks a milestone as completed, the payment is automatically released to the Freelancer and is non-refundable.

3. Refund Processing & Payment Method

  • Timeframe: Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days.
  • Refund Method: Refunds are credited back to the Client’s original payment method (credit/debit card).
  • Payment Security: Hire in Pakistan does not store payment details on its servers. All transactions are securely processed via Stripe Payment Terminal.

4. No Refund Exceptions

  • No Refunds for Completed & Approved Work – Once a Client marks a Gig, Task, or Project milestone as completed, refunds are no longer possible.
  • No Refunds for Platform Fees – Service fees charged by Hire in Pakistan are non-refundable.
  • No Refunds for External Payments – Payments made outside the Hire in Pakistan platform violate our Terms of Service and are not protected by this policy.

5. Changes to This Policy

Hire in Pakistan reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy as needed. Clients and Freelancers will be notified of major changes via email or platform notifications.
